Our Story

Owner - ryan mcfadden
When my wife and I got married in 2012, I came into the marriage with the family financial motto of “I will always be in debt and that is ok”, but Krystal came with an opposite mindset of “don’t get in debt, but if you must, get out of debt as quickly as possible”. As our financial priorities collided, we decided to try to get on the same page by following Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University together. Within just a few years, we were able to pay off an overwhelming amount of debt and be debt free! This was a freedom I had never known, having been raised to be ok with debt. As I continued to learn how to be in control of my money and budget, I discovered a deep passion and skill for teaching others to get on their own journey of financial freedom.
Our APProach
There's no shortage of advice on YouTube, TikTok, and podcasts offering strategies to help you become debt-free and successful. While some of those strategies might work for certain people, I know that everyone's financial journey is unique—especially for couples. Finances are a leading source of stress in relationships, but they don’t have to be. I'm here to help couples navigate their finances, improve communication, and build a strong financial foundation together.
I’m not a financial advisor, and I’m not here to sell you products, manage investments, or push you toward specific decisions. Instead, my role is that of a guide and educator. I help you understand the “why” behind your financial habits and decisions, empowering you to take control of your future.
My approach is rooted in education, empathy, and practicality. I believe in meeting you where you are—whether that’s overwhelmed by debt, unsure how to budget, or planning for a major life milestone. Together, we’ll craft a personalized plan tailored to your unique needs, breaking things down into manageable steps that make sense for you.
I’m passionate about making financial coaching accessible and approachable, especially for couples. By fostering honest conversations about money, I help you and your partner get on the same page, building trust and unity as you work toward shared goals. Through this process, I aim to empower you with lasting skills and confidence—not quick fixes or temporary solutions—so you can thrive financially for years to come.

Why I love what I do
Helping couples navigate their finances isn’t just what I do - it’s what I’m passionate about. Money can often be a source of stress in relationships, but it can also become a source of strength. By fostering open communication and teamwork, I aim to help couples not only achieve their financial goals but also deepen their connection and confidence along the way.
